Cape Fear Future was initiated by the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce and is being facilitated by the Dr. Richard Florida Creativity Action Team, Catalytix Inc.  The initiative is being co-chaired by Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo, New Hanover County Commission Chairman Bill Caster, and Vinton Fountain, president of Fountain Financial Associates. 

However, various individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the area will provide leadership.  Cape Fear Future is a regional plan and will involve a community-wide effort.
